Responsible Innovation
Penn Engineering is committed to promoting responsible innovation and education practices by advancing research in such areas as AI ethics, safe autonomy, socially responsible finance, and promoting its dissemination and application throughout society.
Penn Engineering kicked off the initiative at an event in October 2024, co-sponsored by Perry World House and hosted by Penn Washington. There, leaders in engineering, academia, industry, and policy met for an engaging dialogue on responsibly shaping the future of innovation.
